One of the most memorable ways to explore the Algarve coastline is by visiting the famous Benagil Caves by kayak or SUP. Through one of our trusted local partners, you can experience this unique tour departing from Albufeira Marina.
The experience begins with a scenic catamaran cruise along the Algarve coast, where you can enjoy spectacular views of cliffs, hidden beaches and rock formations during the first part of the journey (approximately 40 minutes). The boat then stops near the Benagil area, where participants transfer to kayaks or stand-up paddleboards (SUP) to continue the adventure.
From there, you will paddle along the coastline and into caves and hidden caverns, weather permitting. This part of the experience offers the opportunity to explore the natural beauty of the Algarve from a completely different perspective.
There is also time to swim in the ocean and enjoy the surroundings before returning to the catamaran. On the way back to Albufeira Marina you can relax on board, listen to music and enjoy the views of the coastline.
Participants can choose between kayaks (single or double) or stand-up paddleboards, depending on their preference. No previous experience is required. Before starting the activity, professional guides provide a full safety briefing and basic paddling instructions, making the experience suitable for beginners as well as more experienced participants.
