Team Building Algarve for top performers

We’re currently working with an international company to create a tailored team building Algarve experience for 20 of their highest-achieving employees. A trip designed to recognise excellence, promote connection, and celebrate success.

The Brief: Recognition, Motivation and Team Connection

The client came to us with three clear goals:

  • Reward their top performers in a meaningful and memorable way
  • Create opportunities for genuine team bonding outside of the work environment
  • Design a retreat that feels fun, energising and celebratory, offering a well-deserved break from the everyday routine

The Custom Algarve Itinerary

Here’s the 4-day team building itinerary in the Algarve we proposed:

Day 1
Participants arrive at Faro Airport and board a pre-arranged coach to a five-star seafront hotel. After a streamlined check-in, the group meets on the rooftop terrace for welcome drinks. The evening continues on a 60-foot catamaran, where a private chef serves a regional menu during a short coastal cruise.

Day 2
Breakfast is served by the pool before the group travels to a family-run vineyard for a combined brunch and wine-tasting session, led by the resident winemaker. The afternoon is unscheduled; guests may use beach facilities, the spa or leisure areas at their own pace. Dinner is hosted in the old town at a chef’s-table bistro featuring local dishes and a concise cocktail pairing.

Day 3
A sunrise beach breakfast precedes a guided 4×4 route through the Serra de Monchique, with teams rotating roles in navigation and obstacle tasks. The remainder of the afternoon is open for golf, surf lessons or spa appointments. The day concludes with a clifftop dinner that follows a simple “white night” dress guideline and live background music.

Day 4
A late-morning brunch offers hot and cold stations alongside light beverages. An informal recognition session follows, during which each participant receives a small keepsake tile reflecting their contribution. After checkout, luggage is transferred directly to the awaiting coach for the return journey to Faro Airport.
